Mr. Zhang graduated from National University of Defense Technology majoring in Mechanical Engineering and obtained his M.S. degree in Applied Mechanics from Beijing Institute of Technology Beijing in 1982. He obtained the qualification of patent attorney in 1985.

Mr. Zhang served as a patent examiner with the CNIPA from 1986 to 1992.

In 1996, Mr. Zhang worked with Lowe, Price, LeBlanc & Becker, a US intellectual property law firm, as a patent attorney.

Prior to joining Tee & Howe, Mr. Zhang worked with NTD Patent & Trademark Agency Ltd. and China Sinda Intellectual Property Ltd, handling patent application, invalidation and litigation for foreign and domestic clients.

Mr. Zhang has extensive experience in Chinese national and PCT patent applications, invalidation, enforcement and litigation. He is also an experienced trademark attorney.
